恭读致希伯来人书 5:7-9
弟兄们：当基督还在血肉之身时，以大声哀号和眼泪，同那能救他脱离死亡的天主，献上了祈祷和恳求，就因他的虔敬而获得了俯允。他虽然是天主子，却由所受的苦难，学习了服从，且在达到完成之后，为一切服从他的人，成了永远救恩的根源。
Reading 1
A reading from the letter to the Hebrews 5:7-9
In the days when Christ was in the flesh,
he offered prayers and supplications with loud cries and tears
to the one who was able to save him from death,
and he was heard because of his reverence.
Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered;
and when he was made perfect,
he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him.

恭读圣若望福音 19:25-27
那时候，在耶稣的十字架旁，站着他的母亲和他母亲的姐妹，还有克罗帕的妻子玛利亚和玛利亚玛达肋纳。耶稣看见母亲，又看见他所爱的门徒站在旁边，就对母亲说：“女人，看，你的儿子！”然后，又对那门徒说：“看，你的母亲！”就从那时起，那门徒把她接到自己家里。
Gospel
A reading from the Holy Gospel according to John 19:25-27
Standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother
and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas,
and Mary Magdalene.
When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved
he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son.”
Then he said to the disciple,
“Behold, your mother.”
And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.
