恭读依撒意亚先知书 35:1-10
荒野和不毛之地必要欢乐，沙漠必要欣喜，如花盛开，盛开得有如百合，高兴得欢乐歌唱，因为它们将获得黎巴嫩的光华，加尔默耳和沙龙的美丽；它们将见到上主的荣耀，我们天主的光辉。你们应加强痿弱的手，坚固颤动的膝，告诉心怯的人说：“鼓起勇气来，不要畏惧！看，你们的天主，报复已到，天主的报酬已到，他要亲自来拯救你们！”
那时瞎子的眼睛要明朗，聋子的耳朵要开启；那时瘸子必要跳跃如鹿，哑吧的舌头必要欢呼，因为旷野里将流出大水，沙漠中将涌出江河，白热的沙地将变为池沼，亢旱的地带将变为水源，豺狼栖息的洞穴将生出芦苇和菖蒲。那里将有一条大路，称为“圣路”，不洁的人不得通行：这原是上主百姓所走的路，愚蠢的人也不会迷路。那里没有狮子，猛兽也不上来，路上遇不到一只野兽，独有被赎出的人们行走。上主所解救的人必要归来，快乐地来到熙雍，永久的欢乐临于他们头上，他们将享尽快乐和欢喜，忧愁和悲哀必将远遁。
Reading 1
A reading from the book of the Prophet Isaiah 35:1-10
The desert and the parched land will exult;
the steppe will rejoice and bloom.
They will bloom with abundant flowers,
and rejoice with joyful song.
The glory of Lebanon will be given to them,
the splendor of Carmel and Sharon;
They will see the glory of the LORD,
the splendor of our God.
Strengthen the hands that are feeble,
make firm the knees that are weak,
Say to those whose hearts are frightened:
Be strong, fear not!
Here is your God,
he comes with vindication;
With divine recompense
he comes to save you.
Then will the eyes of the blind be opened,
the ears of the deaf be cleared;
Then will the lame leap like a stag,
then the tongue of the mute will sing.
Streams will burst forth in the desert,
and rivers in the steppe.
The burning sands will become pools,
and the thirsty ground, springs of water;
The abode where jackals lurk
will be a marsh for the reed and papyrus.
A highway will be there,
called the holy way;
No one unclean may pass over it,
nor fools go astray on it.
No lion will be there,
nor beast of prey go up to be met upon it.
It is for those with a journey to make,
and on it the redeemed will walk.
Those whom the LORD has ransomed will return
and enter Zion singing,
crowned with everlasting joy;
They will meet with joy and gladness,
sorrow and mourning will flee.

恭读圣路加福音 5:17-26
有一天，耶稣正在施教，几个法利塞人和法学士也在座。他们是从加里肋亚和犹太各乡村及耶路撒冷来的；上主的德能催迫耶稣治病。看，有人用床抬来一个患瘫痪症的人，设法把他抬进去，放在耶稣跟前。但因人众多，不得其门而入。遂上了房顶，从瓦中间，把他连那小床系到中间，正放在耶稣面前。耶稣一见他们的信心，就说：“人啊！你的罪赦了。”经师和法利塞人开始忖度说：“这人是谁？竟说亵渎话？除了天主一个外，谁能赦罪？”耶稣看透了他们的心思，就向他们说：“你们心里忖度什么呢？什么比较容易？是说：你的罪赦了，或是说：起来行走吧！但为叫你们知道人子在地上有权赦罪。”——便对瘫子说：“我给你说：起来，拿起你的小床，回家去吧！”那人立刻在他们面前站了起来，拿着他躺过的小床，回家去了。众人十分惊奇，并光荣天主，满怀恐惧说：“今天我们看见了出奇的事。”

A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Luke 5:17-26
One day as Jesus was teaching,
Pharisees and teachers of the law,
who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and Jerusalem,
were sitting there,
and the power of the Lord was with him for healing.
And some men brought on a stretcher a man who was paralyzed;
they were trying to bring him in and set him in his presence.
But not finding a way to bring him in because of the crowd,
they went up on the roof
and lowered him on the stretcher through the tiles
into the middle in front of Jesus.
When Jesus saw their faith, he said,
“As for you, your sins are forgiven.”
Then the scribes and Pharisees began to ask themselves,
“Who is this who speaks blasphemies?
Who but God alone can forgive sins?”
Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them in reply,
“What are you thinking in your hearts?
Which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’
or to say, ‘Rise and walk’?
But that you may know
that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”–
he said to the one who was paralyzed,
“I say to you, rise, pick up your stretcher, and go home.”
He stood up immediately before them,
picked up what he had been lying on,
and went home, glorifying God.
Then astonishment seized them all and they glorified God,
and, struck with awe, they said,
“We have seen incredible things today.”
