恭读圣若望一书 1:1-4
亲爱的诸位：论到那从起初就有的生命的圣言，就是我们听见过，我们亲眼看见过，瞻仰过，以及我们亲手摸过的生命的圣言——这生命已显示出来，我们看见了，也为他作证，且把这原与父同在，且已显示给我们的永远的生命，传报给你们——我们将所见所闻的传报给你们，为使你们也同我们相通；原来我们是同父和他的子耶稣基督相通的。我们给你们写这些事，是为叫我们的喜乐得以圆满。
Reading 1
A reading from the First Letter of John 1:1-4
Beloved:
What was from the beginning,
what we have heard,
what we have seen with our eyes,
what we looked upon
and touched with our hands
concerns the Word of life —
for the life was made visible;
we have seen it and testify to it
and proclaim to you the eternal life
that was with the Father and was made visible to us—
what we have seen and heard
we proclaim now to you,
so that you too may have fellowship with us;
for our fellowship is with the Father
and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
We are writing this so that our joy may be complete.

一周的第一天，玛利亚玛达肋纳跑去见西满伯多禄和耶稣所爱的那另一个门徒，对他们说：“有人从坟墓中把主搬走了， 我们不知道他们把他放在那里了。”伯多禄便和那另一个门徒出来，往坟墓那里去了。两人一起跑，但那另一个门徒比伯多禄跑得快，先来到了坟墓那里。他俯身看见了放着的殓布，却没有进去。随着他的西满伯多禄也来到了，进了坟墓，看见了放着的殓布，也看见耶稣头上的那块汗巾，不同殓布放在一起，而另在一处卷着。那时，先来到坟墓的那个门徒，也进去了，一看见就相信了。
Gospel
A reading from the Holy Gospel according to John 20:1a and 2-8
On the first day of the week,
Mary Magdalene ran and went to Simon Peter
and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and told them,
“They have taken the Lord from the tomb,
and we do not know where they put him.”
So Peter and the other disciple went out and came to the tomb.
They both ran, but the other disciple ran faster than Peter
and arrived at the tomb first;
he bent down and saw the burial cloths there, but did not go in.
When Simon Peter arrived after him,
he went into the tomb and saw the burial cloths there,
and the cloth that had covered his head,
not with the burial cloths but rolled up in a separate place.
Then the other disciple also went in,
the one who had arrived at the tomb first,
and he saw and believed.
