恭读圣保禄宗徒致格林多人后书 9:6-10
弟兄们：小量播种的，也要小量收获；大量播种的，也要大量收获。每人照心中所酌量的捐助，不要心痛，也不要勉强，因为“天主爱乐捐的人”。天主能丰厚地赐与你们各种恩惠，使你们在一切事上常十分充足，能多行各种善事，正如经上记载说：“他博施济贫，他的仁义永世常存。”那供给播种者种子，而又供给食粮作吃食的，必要供给和增多你们的种子，且使你们仁义的出产增加。
Reading 1
A reading from the second letter of St. Paul to the Corinthians 9:6-10
Brothers and sisters:
Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly,
and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
Each must do as already determined, without sadness or compulsion,
for God loves a cheerful giver.
Moreover, God is able to make every grace abundant for you,
so that in all things, always having all you need,
you may have an abundance for every good work.
As it is written:
He scatters abroad, he gives to the poor;
his righteousness endures forever.
The one who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food
will supply and multiply your seed
and increase the harvest of your righteousness.
福音
恭读圣若望福音 12:24-26
那时候，耶稣对他的门徒说：“我实实在在告诉你们：一粒麦子如果不落在地里死了，仍只是一粒；如果死了，才结出许多子粒来。爱惜自己性命的，必要丧失性命；在现世憎恨自己性命的，必要保存性命入于永生。谁若事奉我，就当跟随我；如此，我在那里，我的仆人也要在那里；谁若事奉我，我父必要尊重他。”
Gospel
A reading from the Holy Gospel according to John 12:24-26
Jesus said to his disciples:
“Amen, amen, I say to you,
unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies,
it remains just a grain of wheat;
but if it dies, it produces much fruit.
Whoever loves his life loses it,
and whoever hates his life in this world
will preserve it for eternal life.
Whoever serves me must follow me,
and where I am, there also will my servant be.
The Father will honor whoever serves me.”
