恭读圣保禄宗徒致厄弗所人书 4:1-7, 11-13
弟兄们：我这在主内为囚犯的恳求你们，行动务要与你们所受的宠召相称，凡事要谦逊、温和、忍耐，在爱德中彼此担待，尽力以和平的联系，保持心神的合一，因为只有一个身体和一个圣神，正如你们蒙召，同有一个希望一样。只有一个主，一个信德，一个洗礼；只有一个天主和众人之父，他超越众人，贯通众人，且在众人之内。但我们各人所领受的恩宠，却是按照基督赐恩的尺度。就是他赐与这些人作宗徒，那些人作先知，有的作传福音者，有的作司牧和教师，为服务圣徒，使之各尽其职；为建树基督的身体，直到我们众人都达到对于天主子，有一致的信仰和认识，成为成年人，达到基督圆满年龄的程度。
Reading 1
A reading from the first letter of St. Paul to the Ephesians 4:1-7, 11-13
Brothers and sisters:
I, a prisoner for the Lord,
urge you to live in a manner worthy of the call you have received,
with all humility and gentleness, with patience,
bearing with one another through love,
striving to preserve the unity of the Spirit
through the bond of peace:
one Body and one Spirit,
as you were also called to the one hope of your call;
one Lord, one faith, one baptism;
one God and Father of all,
who is over all and through all and in all.
But grace was given to each of us
according to the measure of Christ’s gift.
And he gave some as Apostles, others as prophets,
others as evangelists, others as pastors and teachers,
to equip the holy ones for the work of ministry,
for building up the Body of Christ,
until we all attain to the unity of faith
and knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood,
to the extent of the full stature of Christ.

那时候，耶稣从葛法翁前行，看见一个人在税关那里坐着，名叫玛窦，对他说：“跟随我！”他就起来跟随了耶稣。当耶稣在屋里坐席时，有许多税吏和罪人也来同耶稣和他的门徒一起坐席。法利塞人看见，就对他的门徒说：“你们的老师为什么同税吏和罪人一起进食呢？”耶稣听见了，就说：“不是健康的人需要医生，而是有病的人。你们去研究一下：‘我喜欢仁爱胜过祭献’，是什么意思；我不是来召义人，而是来召罪人。”

A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew 9:9-13
As Jesus passed by,
he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the customs post.
He said to him, “Follow me.”
And he got up and followed him.
While he was at table in his house,
many tax collectors and sinners came
and sat with Jesus and his disciples.
The Pharisees saw this and said to his disciples,
“Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”
He heard this and said,
“Those who are well do not need a physician, but the sick do.
Go and learn the meaning of the words,
I desire mercy, not sacrifice.
I did not come to call the righteous but sinners.”
