恭读依撒意亚先知书 45:6-8, 18, 21-25
上主说：“除我之外，再没有另一位。我是上主，再没有另一位；是我造了光明，造了黑暗；造了幸福，降了灾祸：是我上主造成了这一切。”诸天，请由上滴下甘露，望云彩降下仁义，愿大地裂开生出救恩，愿正义一同出生！我上主创造了这事。
因为那创造诸天的上主——只有他是天主，是他创造、形成和奠定了大地：他并非创造了一团混沌，而是为使人居住才造了它！他这样说：“我是上主，没有另一位。
“的确，除我以外，没有别的神！除我以外，再没有一个仁义的神和救主。大地四极的人！你们归依我，必能得救，因为只有我是天主，再没有另一个。我指着我自己起誓：真理一出我口，那话决不返回；人人都将向我屈膝，众舌都要指着我起誓。人都要说：唯有在上主前有仁义和力量。凡向他发怒的，必要含羞地归依他。以色列所有的后裔，必要因上主获胜夸耀。”
Reading 1
A reading from the Book of the Prophet Isaiah 45:6C-8, 18, 21C-25
I am the LORD, there is no other;
I form the light, and create the darkness,
I make well-being and create woe;
I, the LORD, do all these things.
Let justice descend, O heavens, like dew from above,
like gentle rain let the skies drop it down.
Let the earth open and salvation bud forth;
let justice also spring up!
I, the LORD, have created this.
For thus says the LORD,
The creator of the heavens,
who is God,
The designer and maker of the earth
who established it,
Not creating it to be a waste,
but designing it be lived in:
I am the LORD, and there is no other.
Who announced this from the beginning
and foretold it from of old?
Was it not I, the LORD,
besides whom there is no other God?
There is no just and saving God but me.
Turn to me and be safe,
all you ends of the earth,
for I am God; there is no other!
By myself I swear,
uttering my just decree
and my unalterable word:
To me every knee shall bend;
by me every tongue shall swear,
Saying, “Only in the LORD
are just deeds and power.
Before him in shame shall come
all who vent their anger against him.
In the LORD shall be the vindication and the glory
of all the descendants of Israel.”

那时候，若翰便叫了自己的两个门徒，打发他们到主那里去说：“你就是要来的那位，或者我们还要等候另一位？”二人来到耶稣跟前说：“洗者若翰派我们来问你：你就是要来的那位，或者我们还要等候另一位呢？”正在那时刻，他治好了许多患有病痛和疾苦的，并附有恶魔的人，又恩赐许多瞎子看见。他便回答说：“你们去！把你们所见所闻的报告给若翰：瞎子看见，瘸子行走，癞病人洁净，聋子听见，死人复活，贫穷人听到喜讯。凡不因我绊倒的，是有福的。”
Gospel
A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Luke 7:18B-23
At that time,
John summoned two of his disciples and sent them to the Lord to ask,
“Are you the one who is to come, or should we look for another?”
When the men came to the Lord, they said,
“John the Baptist has sent us to you to ask,
‘Are you the one who is to come, or should we look for another?’”
At that time Jesus cured many of their diseases, sufferings, and evil spirits;
he also granted sight to many who were blind.
And Jesus said to them in reply,
“Go and tell John what you have seen and heard:
the blind regain their sight,
the lame walk,
lepers are cleansed,
the deaf hear, the dead are raised,
the poor have the good news proclaimed to them.
And blessed is the one who takes no offense at me.”
