恭读依撒意亚先知书 9:1-6
在黑暗中行走的百姓，看见了一道皓光；那寄居于漆黑之地的人，已有光辉照射在他们身上。你加强了他们的快乐，增加了他们的喜悦；他们在你面前欢乐，有如人收割时的欢乐，又如分赃时的愉快；因为你折断了他们所负的重轭，和他们肩上的横木，以及压迫他们者的短棍，有如在米德杨那天一样；因为战士所穿发响的军靴，和染满血迹的战袍，都要被焚毁，作为火焰的燃料。
因为有一婴孩为我们诞生了，有一个儿子赐给了我们。他肩上担负着王权；他的名字要称为神奇的谋士、强有力的天主、永远之父、和平之王。他的王权是伟大的；达味的御座和他王国的平安，是无限的。他将以正义与公平，巩固与保持他的王国，从今时直到永远：万军上主的热诚必要完成这事。
Reading 1
A reading from the Book of the prophet Isaiah 9:1-6
The people who walked in darkness
have seen a great light;
upon those who dwelt in the land of gloom
a light has shone.
You have brought them abundant joy
and great rejoicing,
as they rejoice before you as at the harvest,
as people make merry when dividing spoils.
For the yoke that burdened them,
the pole on their shoulder,
and the rod of their taskmaster
you have smashed, as on the day of Midian.
For every boot that tramped in battle,
every cloak rolled in blood,
will be burned as fuel for flames.
For a child is born to us, a son is given us;
upon his shoulder dominion rests.
They name him Wonder-Counselor, God-Hero,
Father-Forever, Prince of Peace.
His dominion is vast
and forever peaceful,
from David’s throne, and over his kingdom,
which he confirms and sustains
by judgment and justice,
both now and forever.
The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this!

亲爱的：
天主拯救众人的恩宠已经出现，教导我们弃绝不虔敬的生活，和世俗的贪欲；而要有节制地、公正地、虔敬地在今世生活，期待所希望的幸福，和我们伟大的天主及救主耶稣基督光荣的显现。他为我们舍弃了自己，是为救赎我们脱离一切罪恶，并洗净我们，使我们能成为他的选民，叫我们热心行善。
Reading 2
A reading from the letter of St. Paul to Titus 2:11-14
Beloved:
The grace of God has appeared, saving all
and training us to reject godless ways and worldly desires
and to live temperately, justly, and devoutly in this age,
as we await the blessed hope,
the appearance of the glory of our great God
and savior Jesus Christ,
who gave himself for us to deliver us from all lawlessness
and to cleanse for himself a people as his own,
eager to do what is good.

恭读圣路加福音 2:1-14
那时凯撒奥古斯都，出了一道上谕，叫天下的人都要登记：这是季黎诺作叙利亚总督时，初次行的登记。于是，众人各去本城登记。
若瑟因为是达味家族的人，也从加里肋亚纳匝肋城，上犹大名叫白冷的达味城去，好同自己已怀孕的聘妻玛利亚去登记。
他们在那里的时候，玛利亚分娩的日期满了，便生了她的头胎男儿，用襁褓裹起，放在马槽里，因为在客栈中，为他们没有地方。
在那地区，有些牧羊人露宿守夜，看守羊群。有上主的一位天使，站在他们身边；上主的荣光，照射着他们；他们便非常害怕。天使向他们说：“不要害怕！看！我给你们报告一个为全民族的大喜讯：今天在达味城中，为你们诞生了一位救世者；他是主默西亚。这是给你们的记号：你们将要看见一个婴儿，裹着襁褓，躺在马槽里。”忽然有一大队天军，同那天使一起，赞颂天主说：

Gospel
A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Luke 2:1-14
In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus
that the whole world should be enrolled.
This was the first enrollment,
when Quirinius was governor of Syria.
So all went to be enrolled, each to his own town.
And Joseph too went up from Galilee from the town of Nazareth
to Judea, to the city of David that is called Bethlehem,
because he was of the house and family of David,
to be enrolled with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child.
While they were there,
the time came for her to have her child,
and she gave birth to her firstborn son.
She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger,
because there was no room for them in the inn.
Now there were shepherds in that region living in the fields
and keeping the night watch over their flock.
The angel of the Lord appeared to them
and the glory of the Lord shone around them,
and they were struck with great fear.
The angel said to them,
“Do not be afraid;
for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy
that will be for all the people.
For today in the city of David
a savior has been born for you who is Christ and Lord.
And this will be a sign for you:
you will find an infant wrapped in swaddling clothes
and lying in a manger.”
And suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel,
praising God and saying:
“Glory to God in the highest
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”
